3/31 ISSMA CLINIC: Camerata - Philharmonic - Serenata
Our Camerata, Philharmonic, and Serenata Orchestras will participate in a preview clinic on Tuesday, March 31st. During this event, families will have the opportunity to watch students perform their ISSMA music in the Leonard Auditorium. Immediately following their performance, they will move to the Orchestra room where they will work with our clinician, Mr. Thomas Chen, from Carmel High School. |

4/14 ISSMA QUALS CLINIC: Symphony Orchestra
Our Symphony Orchestra will participate in a preview clinic on Tuesday, April 14th. During this event, families will have the opportunity to watch students perform their ISSMA music in the Leonard Auditorium. Immediately following their performance, our clinician, Mr. Matt James will join the Symphony on stage and work with the ensemble. The Wind Ensemble will be in attendance that evening with a clinician. |

4/22 PALLADIUM PERFORMANCE
Our Serenata and Symphony ensembles will be performing at the Palladium on Wednesday, April 22nd at 6:30PM. However, ALL of our orchestras, families, friends and community are invited to come out and see the performance! Tickets now on sale... CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS! 4/24 or 4/25 ISSMA DISTRICT ORGANIZATION CONTEST
Our Camerata, Philharmonic and Serenata Orchestras will be participating in the ISSMA Organization District Contest on either on the evening of Friday, April 24th or during the morning/afternoon of Saturday, April 25th This is an adjudicated event and attendance is mandatory. ISSMA will let us know roughly two weeks in advance whether we will perform on Friday or Saturday and what time.
FORMAT: The students will warm up, perform for three judges and then move to the sight reading room where we will sightread for one judge. Students will receive comments and a rating from all judges. Ratings will be available shortly after sightreading and the comments will be shared with students the following week during class. The performance is open to all audiences but the sightreading room is closed.
HOSTING: Great news! We HOST this event at HSEHS! It's so nice not to have to travel and we will need volunteers to help! We will be sending out a Sign Up Genius link for our students to volunteer and also for our parents to volunteer.

4/29 SOUTHEASTERN ORCHESTRA SOCIAL: All Students!
Save the date for our Southeastern Orchestra Social happening at Pinheads on the evening of Wednesday, April 29th. All of our orchestra students are invited to attend. More information will be sent out soon but students should sign up, if they plan on attending, so that we can start to reserve space! *Students can find the link to sign up in the March Orchestra Royal Update or in Canvas. |
5/1 or 5/2 ISSMA STATE QUALIFICATIONS: Symphony Orchestra
Our Symphony Orchestra will once again participate in the ISSMA State Qualifications Contest on either Friday, May 1st or Saturday, May 2nd at Lawrence Central High School. Attendance is mandatory and any student who does not participate in the State Qualification will not be allowed to participate in the State Finals event, should we advance to Finals.

The Southeastern Orchestras along with the HSE Bands are headed to Disneyland & Southern California in 2027!!
Current HSE High School Orchestra and Band Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors as well as incoming Freshman for the 2026-2027 school year have the opportunity to sign up and come along with us! We have a lot of students attending but are in serious need of CELLISTS!! If you are a cellist and on the fence about participating in this awesome trip, don't hesitate to reach out to us to help answer any questions you may have! While the official deadline has passed, it's not too late to sign up! If you are interested please contact Mrs. Nieto or Mr. Kunz. |

INDIANA ALL STATE ORCHESTRA
We are incredibly proud of our Southeastern Symphony Musicians who were accepted into the Indiana All State Orchestra!
These students will perform at the Embassy Theater in Fort Wayne along with other exceptional high school musicians across the state of Indiana. Acceptance into this orchestra is by audition only and only student musicians at the highest caliber are invited to perform!
